| EVOLV is a relative newcomer to the climbing shoe manufacturing business. We first noticed them in 2005 when we tried a few of their models. We were very impressed with their quality of construction, innovative designs, and very affordable prices. Since then they have only gotten better. With input from Chris Sharma (one of the best rock climbers) they have further refined their designs and brought out the Pontas, the Pontas lace-up, and the Hera, new high-performance rock shoes, available for men and women.
